11 runners from the club took part in last Thursday night’s 5k on the York University Cycle Circuit. The 5 lap course was fast and was a bit like running on a very large running track so people’s times were good.
Charlotte Mason broke 17 minutes for the first time with 16.55 and was the 2nd fastest female by just 8 seconds to Leeds’ Jennifer Walsh. George Phillips also ran a PB with 15.45 which was the best time by runners from the club. Gianluca Mastrolonardo (16.40) and Lottie Langan (18.29) both took big steps forward as they were the fastest juniors on the night. Other runners from the club that took part were Kyle Mcleay (17.51), Ed Mezzetti (18.23), William Chalk (18.31), Ed Dunn (19.26), Mike Raynes (19.40), Peter Hanson (21.08) and Isaac Morris (21.54).
