Angus McMillan set a club record time of 14.29m in the Middlesbrough 5k that took place last Sunday. In a rare appearance on the roads Angus took 9 seconds from Robbie Brown’s previous mark in the fast event that took place on the Middlesbrough cycle circuit.
Katy and Karen Wood also made it a family double in the Swainby Sweep trail races. Katy won the 7 miles race in 44.35m and came 2nd overall. Karen meanwhile took the Vet50 prize with a time of 63.45m.
