Off Track Distance races
A very quiet week with no club races taking place and Storm Arwen decimating the Saturday parkruns.
Sam Dickinson came 32nd at the Liverpool Cross Challenge which acted as a trial for the European Cross Country Championships that will be held in Dublin next month. Angus McMillan came 39th and 13th under 23 in the same race. Izzi O’Brien came 49th in the under 20 women’s race.
Jessica Robertson-Dover ran her first ever 10k road race as she ran 42.32 in the Doncaster 10k. This time was good enough to be 7th junior. Mum Chrissie helped Jessica with the pace making to finish just behind Jessica.
Three of our runners braved the gale force winds and did parkrun on Saturday. Nick Elliott was the fastest from the club as he came 3rd at Bury Field near Milton Keynes in 20.24.
