Lottie Langan won a silver medal in the National Cross Country Championships that were held on Saturday at Parliament Hill in London. Lottie made a good start up the quarter mile climb at the start of the race as she established herself in the lead group. The diminutive Isabella Waugh from Rotherham pulled away on the first lap and had opened up a gap of 50 metres from Lottie with two other runners about 10 metres further back. However, another effort on the downhill finish saw Lottie come home in 2nd place just two seconds ahead of Lilia Harris of Rotherham.
