Off track distance races

The club had a good turnout of juniors at the PECO at Leeds on Sunday. A cold day and frosty ground, but better than recent days last week.

There were 120 runners in the secondary age race, with William Keens 3rd and Edward Millgate 26th. The Year 7 boys had good runs against older opposition, with Teddy Latham, James Bastow, Leo Forsdyke being 3rd, 4th, 5th of the Year 7 finishers.

In the girls, Kaitlin Keens was 5th, Juliet Horne 6th, and Hannah Lovett 8th and first Year 7.

We also had 4 Under 11 Boys, finishing close together round 30th, out of 166.

A cold morning on Saturday meant that many parkruns got cancelled due to ice. William Keens completed the first part of a weekend double header as he came 1st at Easingwold in a personal best time of 17.22. Chrissie Dover came 1st at New Earswick in 20.57 just ahead of Paul Goble who is making a return to running after injury.
