The first meeting in the York Evening Series took place last Wednesday on a warm early summer’s evening. The meeting produced some great competition and was well attended. The next meeting takes place on Wednesday 5th June. Pictures can be found via the link below.

Charlie Wright won Sunday’s Kirkbymoorside 10k in 34.30.
Fell Racing
We don’t get many fell runners in the flat lands of York so hats off to Amy Kennedy who won the under 19 age group in the Yorkshire Fell Running Championships.
Parkrun
The club had 17 runners doing parkrun over the weekend. William Keens came 1st at Easingwold in 17.36 whilst Alice Gilday (22.07 at Goole) and Mike Raynes (20.59 at Lytham) came 3rd. There were junior age group wins for Ollie Wright, Lucy Davey, Josh Reid, Bethany Ellerker and Kailin Storrie with veteran age group wins for Jon Blake, Allan Scott and Julie Mastrolonardo.
