This group train between 5:45 – 7 pm on a Monday and Wednesday. The sessions enable athletes from School Years 7-11 to further develop their skills of running, jumping and throwing in a fun and safe environment. This group will challenge athletes in terms of their fitness and skill development and will give them the confidence to compete in the Youth Development League competitions and other local and national competitions throughout the athletics season including our own Summer League events and the York Open.

Monday and Wednesday: 5:45 – 7 pm
Athletes should arrive at 5.40pm and meet on the far side of the track to register and begin the warm-up. Athletes can choose 2 different 30-minute activities or choose one activity for the hour. The activities available are: Sprinting, Distance Intervals, High Jump, Long Jump, Hurdles, Shot and Javelin.
