Track and Field
The club had a fantastic time at the Yorkshire Track and Field Championships that were held at York this weekend. We had a lot of members taking part with 24 athletes becoming county champions.
The event also couldn’t have taken place without the hard work of our officials so thank you to Paul Baxter, Ian and Elaine Wilcock, Neil Linaker, Paul Daynes, Giles Hadaway, Paul Goble, Jo McPherson and Greg How for ensuring that the event was successfully organised.
Well done to you all.

This great run won his age group in the race. This is the third fastest time by any male athlete at the club over 5000m and was within 5 seconds of the long standing club record.
