This group train on a Tuesday evening from 5:45-7.30pm, Thursday from 5:45-7:30pm and a Sunday from 9:00-11.15am. Athletes are aged 13-18 and are sprinters/hurdlers and/or combined eventers. We cover sprints and middle-distance; short and long hurdles; long jump, high jump, pole vault; shot, discus and javelin.

I am a UKA athletics coach focusing on junior athlete development and combined events. I am a former secondary school head of PE and I have been teaching and coaching various sports for over 25 years.
I coach the Development Group athletes on Monday and Wednesday evenings and the sprints/hurdles/C.E. group on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and on a Sunday morning.
